About the Programme

The development within digital communication and marketing is remarkable, and there is an increasing demand for targeted content production and distribution through various platforms. The distinction between traditional communication channels and digital platforms is fading, and organizations are increasingly orienting themselves toward video-based and digital content in their marketing strategies. This development creates a growing need for candidates with formal and industry-relevant competence within this field.

The first year of this new two-year study program will be identical to the existing one-year program, Video Marketing in Social Media. In addition to acquiring a fundamental understanding of storytelling, marketing strategies, digital platforms, and publishing tools, students will, in their second year, gain a deeper understanding and competence in video production, editing, visual communication, and campaign administration.

The study program focuses on practical knowledge of tools and methods used in video and content production. The learning structure provides a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that candidates are well prepared for various roles in the industry.

Both our formal industry partners and professional communities, as well as informal contacts in the sector, point to a significant need for competence in video and content production. They expect that candidates from this study program will contribute effectively in a professional context without requiring additional education and training.
