The candidate is provided essential training in self-evaluation and completion of own projects. The candidate selects three of his/her previously submitted compulsory assignments. These assignments will then be improved through teacher feedback throughout the year and re- delivered within a given deadline. The portfolio assessment is conducted as a presentation, where the quality of the submitted material and presentation skills is taken into consideration.
Course Relevance
Self-evaluation, improvement, completion and presentation of own projects is an important part of the learning process. Evaluating your own work along the way and being able to make improvements is a natural part of the field of study and the professional life. Presenting work before a vocational panel will simulate real-world situations that provide useful experiences.
The Candidate:
- can assess his/her own creative and technical work to refine projects according to user feedback, guidance or the general technological progress in the field of study
The Candidate:
- can explain his/her choice of presentation technique for presenting his/her own portfolio
- can explain his/her own vocational choices in selected portfolio assignments and present these in a professional manner
- can reflect over his/her performance and identify the potential for improvement in projects and further develop as needed
The Candidate:
- can plan and carry out a professional presentation of a portfolio for potential clients or employers
- can exchange points of view with his/her peers and discuss best practices for front-end development
In this course, the following teaching and learning methods can be applied, but are not limited to:
- Lecture: Educator-led presentations or activities providing knowledge, skills, or general competencies in the subject area.
- Group work: Collaborative activities where students work together to solve problems or complete tasks.
- Tutoring: One-on-one or small group sessions with an instructor for personalized guidance and support.
- Student presentations: Opportunities for students to demonstrate their understanding of course material by presenting to peers.
- Online lessons: Digital content delivered via an online learning platform.
- Guidance: Individualized advice and direction from instructors to support students in their learning journey.
- Workshops: Practical sessions focused on hands-on application of theoretical concepts or skills.
- Self-study: Independent study where students engage with course material on their own without any teacher support.
Teaching materials, reading lists, and essential resources will be shared in the learning platform and software user manuals where applicable.
