About the Course

The course introduces candidates to design fundamentals and provides knowledge of central concepts, processes, methods, and tools in the field of user interface design (UID). Candidates are provided knowledge of design methodologies such as Design Thinking and Atomic Design. The course introduces candidates to essential principles of universal design and all-inclusive design mentality to develop digital products accessible for all users. The course also provides knowledge and fundamental practical skills in the use of industry-relevant design tools. Candidates are also trained in relevant presentation and collaboration methods.

Course Relevance
The course forms the basis for understanding design fundamentals and user interface design development core principles. The candidate learns professional terminology, processes and fundamental accessibility guidelines that are essential for the development of user-centred digital interfaces.
