The semester concludes with a project in which candidates combine and apply knowledge and skills acquired from the courses completed during the semester. Candidates work in groups on a project that must be planned, documented, and executed according to defined project criteria and deadlines. Each candidate needs to provide individual reflections in a report to document the process, decisions, and learning outcomes. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to make informed and efficient decisions through the use of relevant software tools and detailed documentation, and to communicate using appropriate professional terminology and technical language.
The candidate:
• has knowledge of tools and processes that are used to create and organise project documentation.
• has knowledge of project coordination and documentation processes, and insight into the importance of deadlines.
• has knowledge of processes for file sharing across software and relevant tools for streamlined workflows.
• is familiar with guidelines and procedures for handling technical documentation.
• understands the importance of developing structured project content using clear naming conventions and organised production files.
• understands the importance of referencing external resources.
• can update their own knowledge based on information from external parties.
The candidate:
• can apply knowledge of processes to manage, execute and document a project.
• can apply knowledge of project criteria to develop and maintain professional documentation and deliverables.
• can reflect on their own design choices and make necessary changes.
• can find and refer to regulations and specifications, standards and external material relevant to the production.
The candidate:
• can plan and carry out large projects alone and as part of a group with technical documentation and data from a variety of sources and in accordance with ethical requirements and principles.
• can exchange constructive feedback with peers and participate in discussions about optimal technical solutions.
• can contribute to the development of efficient workflows during project execution.
Digital Learning Resources
The learning management system (LMS) is the primary learning platform where students access most of their course materials. The content is presented in various formats, such as text, images, models, videos or podcasts. Each course follows a progression plan, designed to lead students through weekly modules at their own pace. Exercises and assignments (individual or in groups) are embedded throughout the courses to support continuous practice and assessment of the learning outcomes.
Campus Resources
In addition to the digital learning resources, campus students participate in physical learning activities led by teachers as part of the overall delivery.
Guidance
Guidance and feedback from teachers support students' learning journeys, and may be provided synchronously or asynchronously, individually or in groups, via text, video or in-person feedback.
