The candidate collects all submitted work and must display his/her best productions and demonstrate the accumulated competence to potential employers - such as a show reel (summary video) or through a simple website/blog and relevant portfolio promotion sites. The candidate is given the opportunity to make small modifications to the selected work for an optimised showcase.
Course Relevance
The aim of the course is to prepare students for the job market and provide candidates with the opportunity to create a summarised visual presentation of his/her competence in the ield of 3D. The presentation can be used to self-promote efficiently and strengthen the candidate’s position in a job application process.
The Candidate…
- has knowledge of show reels, portfolios and methods to professionally present his/her own work aimed at a specific company or job listing
- can assess his/her own productions and its relevance toward different companies within the field of 3D
- is familiar with positive and negative aspects of visually presenting his/her own work
The Candidate…
- can explain his/her own presentation material and adjust presentations based on company focus and applicable positions
- can find and refer to professional companies within the industry for reflection and revision of his/her own presentation material
The Candidate…
- can plan and carry out presentations of his/her own 3D productions to demonstrate accumulated competence
- can exchange points of view and constructive criticism with peers and the teacher for optimal impact of his/her own portfolio presentation
In this course, the following teaching and learning methods can be applied, but are not limited to:
- Lecture: Educator-led presentations or activities providing knowledge, skills, or general competencies in the subject area.
- Group work: Collaborative activities where students work together to solve problems or complete tasks.
- Tutoring: One-on-one or small group sessions with an instructor for personalized guidance and support.
- Student presentations: Opportunities for students to demonstrate their understanding of course material by presenting to peers.
- Online lessons: Digital content delivered via an online learning platform.
- Guidance: Individualized advice and direction from instructors to support students in their learning journey.
- Workshops: Practical sessions focused on hands-on application of theoretical concepts or skills.
- Self-study: Independent study where students engage with course material on their own without any teacher support.
Teaching materials, reading lists, and essential resources will be shared in the learning platform and software user manuals where applicable.
