This course teaches candidates about the 3D industry and how to work as a team to complete projects. Candidates will learn about the different 3D fields and the responsibilities of work within them. Candidates will also learn how to plan and execute projects as a team, centred around Extended Reality. Candidates are provided insight into different technologies and skills to adapt and implement VR/AR functionality and 3D assets into Extended Reality (XR) productions. The candidate is provided with knowledge and training about the industry and how to form their path towards a chosen area within the field. This will form the foundation for choices in future courses.
The course aims to provide fundamental competence in the fields of Extended Reality and teamwork and to lay the groundwork for the candidate's choice of career.

Digital Learning Resources:
The learning management system (LMS) is the primary learning platform where students access most of their course materials. The content is presented in various formats, such as text, images, models, videos or podcasts. Each course follows a progression plan, designed to lead students through weekly modules at their own pace. Exercises and assignments (individual or in groups) are embedded throughout the courses to support continuous practice and assessment of the learning outcomes.
Campus Resources:
In addition to the digital learning resources, campus students participate in physical learning activities led by teachers as part of the overall delivery.
Guidance:
Guidance and feedback from teachers support students' learning journeys, and may be provided synchronously or asynchronously, individually or in groups, via text, video or in-person feedback.
