About the Course

The course provides knowledge of concepts, processes and tools that are used to build and maintain design systems witch groups all the reusable components, guided by clear standards to develop or maintain an application. The course provides skills with industry-standard software and production methods for design system components such as controls, elements, inputs, selects, micro animations and navigation. Candidates learn to carry out design system building based on a company’s brand guidelines or a project brief through insight into relevant accessibility standards and regulations. The course builds on competence from Design Styles.

Course Relevance
The course provides an important and essential understanding of design systems and skills to develop and maintain design systems to improve the overall interaction design process and user experience. The candidate learns professional terminology and essential techniques for developing efficient design systems. The candidate is provided insight into relevant tools and design methods to select the appropriate procedure according to the project scope and user needs.
