The course introduces candidates to analysis and breaking up a problem into smaller and manageable pieces, in addition to working with a project from a preliminary investigation and planning stage to implementation, report writing and presentation. The course covers different study techniques to ensure that candidates get the most out of the course and how to write reports and present the content. The course also covers different planning types for projects, process models and ways of moving forward.
It is vital that the students are taught how to run a project, including time management, processes, goals etc., finding information for different themes, learning to access the reliability of the information and documenting the findings in a report. Project management and report writing are also essential in working life, especially when linked to jobs to do with data-driven projects.
The candidate:

- has knowledge of processes and tools that are used to write structured reports
- has insight into relevant regulations and standards for documenting project work
- can update his/her knowledge of research methodologies and sourcing
The candidate:
- can apply knowledge of problem-solving and breaking issues into smaller practical components
- masters relevant tools and techniques to manage projects
- can find information and material relevant to reporting and presenting a project
- can study a situation and/or problem and identify issues in a project and measures to be implemented
The candidate:
- understands the principles that apply during problem-solving and project work

Digital Learning Resources
The learning management system (LMS) is the primary learning platform where students access most of their course materials. The content is presented in various formats, such as text, images, models, videos or podcasts. Each course follows a progression plan, designed to lead students through weekly modules at their own pace. Exercises and assignments (individual or in groups) are embedded throughout the courses to support continuous practice and assessment of the learning outcomes.
Campus Resources
In addition to the digital learning resources, campus students participate in physical learning activities led by teachers as part of the overall delivery.
Guidance
Guidance and feedback from teachers support students' learning journeys, and may be provided synchronously or asynchronously, individually or in groups, via text, video or in-person feedback.
