The students make a short audiovisual film production and participate in this production through their chosen role and as part of a film team.
The students will work together as a professional production team. The course focus on sound, image and storytelling on a high artistic and technical level.
The knowledge the students bring from previous courses, is now being put to use in a more comprehensive project. With the knowledge, skills and competence gained in previous courses this course will help to prepare the students for their final exam project.
The candidate:
- has knowledge of cinematic principles in fiction film and tv-series
- has knowledge of concepts, processes and tools that are used in his/her professional role
- has insight into his/her own opportunities for development in the professional role
- has knowledge of professional roles and their task in a production team
- has knowledge of how to pitch of a film project
- has knowledge of audio design and music in an audiovisual project
The candidate:
- can function in relevant professional roles within his/her chosen specialization in a short audiovisual production
- can explain and reflect on their professional choices as part of a film team and adjust these under supervision
- can use techniques, forms of expression and tools for developing a film script alone or as part of a film team
- can use professional tools for planning, budgeting and production of an audiovisual story individually or as part of a film team
- can use techniques and forms of expression in the production of an audiovisual story alone or as part of a film team
- can use professional pre-production and post-production film equipment independently to create an audiovisual expression
- can find and account for necessary documentation in a film production in accordance with industry standards for requirements
The candidate:
- can perform the tasks of his/her professional role in a short audiovisual project
- can contribute to the making of a short audiovisual project by using variouse methods, processes and tools
- can plan and carry out film projects and tasks in a film production alone and as a participant in a group, in line with the industry's ethical requirements and guidelines
In this course, the following teaching and learning methods can be applied, but are not limited to:
- Lecture: Educator-led presentations or activities providing knowledge, skills, or general competencies in the subject area.
- Group work: Collaborative activities where students work together to solve problems or complete tasks.
- Tutoring: One-on-one or small group sessions with an instructor for personalized guidance and support.
- Student presentations: Opportunities for students to demonstrate their understanding of course material by presenting to peers.
- Online lessons: Digital content delivered via an online learning platform.
- Guidance: Individualized advice and direction from instructors to support students in their learning journey.
- Workshops: Practical sessions focused on hands-on application of theoretical concepts or skills.
- Self-study: Independent study where students engage with course material on their own without any teacher support.
Teaching materials, reading lists, and essential resources will be shared in the learning platform and software user manuals where applicable.
