In a final portfolio presentation, each student writes an evaluation of their own work during the year. The year evaluation is assessed by the subject teacher, and the student’s work and efforts during the year are decisive for the assessment.
The course builds on the knowledge the student have gained in artistic research project 1 and will produce, film and edit an individual short film project with the knowledge they gain thru the development of the project done in portfolio 1.
The candidate:
- has knowledge of concepts, theories, model processes and tools that have been used in his/her production of the portfolio film
- has insight into how to update his/her development in the field of film through self-study
- can assess his/her work in relation to the applicable norms and requirements in the field of film production
The candidate:
- can explain his/her choices in the usage of production and postproduction equipment in an independent, functional manner
- can find and refer to information and vocational material that is relevant to the production of an film
- can reflect over his/her choices in the production and post production of an artistic film project and adjust it under supervision
The candidate:
- can plan and carry out a presentation of an individual, artistic work
- can exchange point of view and why they have made certain choices in the production of the portfolio film
- can contribute to the assessment of their role as part of a production team through self-evaluation
In this course, the following teaching and learning methods can be applied, but are not limited to:
- Lecture: Educator-led presentations or activities providing knowledge, skills, or general competencies in the subject area.
- Group work: Collaborative activities where students work together to solve problems or complete tasks.
- Tutoring: One-on-one or small group sessions with an instructor for personalized guidance and support.
- Student presentations: Opportunities for students to demonstrate their understanding of course material by presenting to peers.
- Online lessons: Digital content delivered via an online learning platform.
- Guidance: Individualized advice and direction from instructors to support students in their learning journey.
- Workshops: Practical sessions focused on hands-on application of theoretical concepts or skills.
- Self-study: Independent study where students engage with course material on their own without any teacher support.
Teaching materials, reading lists, and essential resources will be shared in the learning platform and software user manuals where applicable.
