- the main ecological, social and political frames of the Nordic forest sector
- the most important principles and the most common methods in Nordic forest management and forest operations technology
- the main value chains in the Nordic processing industry
The candidate can:
- use a broad set of technical terms in English related to forestry
- reflect on the management and operation of Nordic forests
- analyse, utilize and present English research literature related to forestry
The candidate can:
- search for and assemble information from various sources in order to provide more insight on forestry
- contribute to professional specialization within forestry for himself and his fellow students
