  • the main ecological, social and political frames of the Nordic forest sector 
  • the most important principles and the most common methods in Nordic forest management and forest operations technology   
  • the main value chains in the Nordic processing industry  
Skills

The candidate can: 

  • use a broad set of technical terms in English related to forestry   
  • reflect on the management and operation of Nordic forests  
  •  analyse, utilize and present English research literature related to forestry

The candidate can: 

  • search for and assemble information from various sources in order to provide more insight on forestry 
  • contribute to professional specialization within forestry for himself and his fellow students
