The course builds general competence with the use of different CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, as well as methods for efficiently writing CSS code. The candidate is introduced to Pre-processors, which are used to keep CSS code more modular. Candidates also learn best practices based on the DRY principle.

By learning about CSS frameworks and relevant tools, students can significantly streamline the development process. Competence in this course has great impact for working with course projects.
The Candidate:
- has knowledge of arranging stylesheets appropriately.
- has knowledge of the DRY principle that is used in the development of stylesheets
- can assess his/her own stylesheets in relation to the DRY principle
- can assess and implement code from documentation on a CSS framework
The Candidate:
- can explain his/her choices for using the CSS framework and relevant tools for developing digital solutions
- can reflect over his/her own application of the CSS framework in the development of stylesheets and adjust it under supervision, or in relation to the general development of industry tools
- can find and refer to information on new versions of the CSS framework, relevant tools and assess the relevance in relation to his/her own projects
The Candidate:
- can plan and carry out digital solutions based on the CSS framework, either alone or as part of a group
- can plan and carry out digital solutions that work independent of screen resolutions
- can exchange points of view about the use of CSS frameworks with other vocational students and participate in discussions about the development of digital solutions based on CSS frameworks
Digital Learning Resources
The learning management system (LMS) is the primary learning platform where students access most of their course materials. The content is presented in various formats, such as text, images, models, videos or podcasts. Each course follows a progression plan, designed to lead students through weekly modules at their own pace. Exercises and assignments (individual or in groups) are embedded throughout the courses to support continuous practice and assessment of the learning outcomes.

In addition to the digital learning resources, campus students participate in physical learning activities led by teachers as part of the overall delivery.
