About the Course

The course provides knowledge of and skills to install and configure a Microsoft Windows Server.  Candidates are provided skills to install Active Directory and manage networks through Active Directory features. Candidates also learn about the rights and permissions on a Windows-based system, in addition to configuring different services for functionality and security based on project specifications. The course builds on competence from Operating and File Systems and Network Infrastructure

The aim of the course is to provide competence to operate Microsoft-based systems. Microsoft has the most used operating systems in the world, and it is essential competence for further education, and in the context of ICT. Windows is also among the most common operating systems in businesses that do not have ICT as their focus, this course provides the foundation about the technologies and the services offered through them.

  • has knowledge of processes and tools that are used to install, configure, and manage Active Directory and Microsoft Windows Server features
