Knowledge

The student:

  • has knowledge of how to create movement and personality in an animated object

The student:

  • can apply the animation principles in an animation sequence by focusing on personality and movement
  • can use professional animation software

  • can plan and execute an animation sequence
Teaching and working methods

The course is organized as a combination of lectures, practical exercises, self-study and supervision.

Throughout the course, students work on a single assignment. The students will make a short animated film, with the main focus on the quality of the characters, animation and any other character-driven elements.

Required coursework
  • 2-4 individual assignments
  • participation in teaching activities in accordance with the teaching plan 

Compulsory requirements that have been passed are valid for only 12 months. Students who wish to take examinations after 12 months must pass the mandatory work requirements again at the next regular completion of the course.
