  • Distribution, dispersion and variation
  • Hypothesis testing and significance
  • Type-1-errors and type-2-errors
  • Test assumptions

Presentation of data using

  • various relevant diagram types
  • summary measures

Simple hypothesis testing

  • Two sample comparisons
  • Correlation analysis
  • Cross-tabulation tests
  • Presentation of test results

Teaching and working methods

Campus based seminars and classroom lessons, practical assignments, short video lessons.

Required coursework
  • At least 80 % classroom attendance
  • 2-4 practical assignments to be handed in and approved by the teacher, as specified in the term plan

Written school exam, 3 hours. Assessment: Pass or fail.
